Compulsory forms

Special Regulations for Section H

  1. Due to NSW COVID directives, regulations may change at short notice and out of YSS control
    - Do not enter the Showground if you are feeling unwell or have cold or flu like symptoms.
    - Masks must be worn in all indoor spaces.
    - Physical distancing requirements of 1.5 metres applies on the showground.
    - It is mandatory to scan the QR code (or have Trybooking ticketing) on entry.

  2. All exhibitors & competitors must purchase an entry ticket online here  
    A prepaid membership for $8 (includes parking) is the most economical option.

  3. Gates open at 6am. Parking is $5. After 8am the main gate will close to horse transport and entry will only be available through the bottom gate on O’Connell Rd. Parking only in designated areas. Follow signs & YSS volunteer’s directions. (See parking diagram on Website - coming soon).

  4. All competitors & their horses must vacate Yass Showground by 5pm on Sat 19th March 2022.

  5. There is no camping at the Yass Showground.

  6. The use of electric fences/tape to contain horses is forbidden on Yass Showground.

  7. Riders and handlers of stallions must be 18 years and over.

  8. District events are only open to residents and horses of Yass Valley Shire.

  9. All riders in all rings, except the Stock Horse Ring, must wear an approved helmet (Please see Standards on Show Web Page).

  10. All exhibitors must produce registration, membership and/or relevant breed and height papers on request for all classes.

  11. Novice classes are for horses and/or riders that have not won a 1st place in the same class at an Agricultural Show.

  12. Intermediate classes mean horses and/or riders that have not yet been placed in their individual events at a Royal Show.

  13. Show Hunter Classes - horses to nominate in either Show Hunter or Hack classes, not both.

  14. Classes, prizemoney and trophies may be cancelled at the Chief Stewards discretion.

No electric fences are permitted on the Yass Showground during the 2022 Yass Show.
