form The Yass Pastoral and Agricultural Association was established in 1863 and is the longest-running annual community event in the Yass Shire. the historic grounds on Grand Junction road, the third "home" for the Show, have been the permanent base for the showground since 1902, and provide an attractive setting for the numerous facilities that have been developed over the years. The Yass Show Society Inc presents its annual Show in autumn, with 2 days of competition and displays showcasing the best the district has to offer. Visitors and competitors come from a wide area making the Yass Show one of the best in this part of the State. The thrills of night time rodeo add an extra dimension to the entertainment provided over this weekend in late March or early April. The Yass Show Society Inc conducts a Championship Rodeo in November each year, and this day/night competition is an exciting "fixture" on the calendar for both competitors and spectators. The Yass Show Society Inc manages a Wether Trial on land leased from the National Trust at historic Cooma Cottage on the outskirts of Yass. Sheep from the district's top commercial flocks participate in this 4 year trial. Membership FeesWe invite you to join the Yass Show Society benefits of Membership are as follows: MEMBERSHIP: We invite you to join the Yass Show Society benefits of Membership are as follows: Family Membership - $25 - (2 tickets) free admission to Annual Show for member and one guest, and all member's children, 18yrs & under (children MUST be accompanied by member) free entry to the ground for member's nominated vehicle and the right to vote at Annual General meetings of the Yass Show Society Inc. Single Membership - $13 - (1 ticket, no children’s ticket/s) entitles free admission to Annual show, free entry to the ground for member's nominated vehicle and the right to vote at Annual General meetings of the Yass Show Society Inc. No concessions given.
